The coordination between viticulture and winemaking teams is essential when choosing fruit, to achieve the optimum level of _avor and balance in
the wine. The vineyards selected for the Beringer Classics wines are bathed in warm sunshine the majority of the day, to yield the most ripe,
sun-kissed fruit _avors in the grapes.
When making the Beringer Pinot Grigio, Beringer’s winemaking team focused on the refreshing crisp minerality and fruity peach undertones for
which the varietal is known. Following harvest, the grapes were gently crushed and immediately pressed to minimize skin contact.
A cool-fermentation followed in stainless steel to retain the Pinot Grigio’s bright, fruit forward character.
