Beringer Founders’ Estate Cabernet Sauvignon was chosen from vineyards in Central California along with select vineyards on the North Coast. The grapes picked reflect the diverse microclimates of each area producing a wonderful depth of flavor, elegance and intensity that make this Cabernet Sauvignon a perfect match with any dish you wish to create.
The winemaking team worked with Beringer’s viticulture department to determine when each vineyard reached full maturity. Once fully ripened and picked, the Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in seasoned French and American oak barrels for over 8 months, helping the flavors assimilate while integrating a touch of cedar and a back note of baking spices. Petite Sirah and Cabernet Franc were added for additional spice and structure to the final blend and further compliment the intense flavors of this wine.
