Product Description

VINEYARDS
The coordination between viticulture and winemaking teams is essential when choosing fruit, to achieve the optimum level of _avor and balance in the wine. The vineyards selected for the Beringer Classics wines are bathed in warm sunshine the majority of the day, to yield the most ripe, sun-kissed fruit _avors in the grapes.

WINEMAKING NOTES
Winemaking begins in the vineyard and often peaks with the harvest of the grapes that have been carefully tended all year long. Grapes for the Beringer Classics Merlot were picked at the peak of maturity to maintain the fruit’s rich, ripe _avors in the _nished wine. Winemaking focused on accentuating the deep red fruit _avors from the grapes with the sweet spices of oak, resulting in a smooth, fruit-forward wine with a pleasing _nish.

TASTING NOTES
Ripe plum and currant _avors are immediately evident in the aromas and _avors of the Beringer Classics Merlot. A sweet, toasty note of oak rounds out the blend and gives the wine a nice body and mouth feel. Approachable and delicious from the _rst sip, this wine is an everyday indulgence.
