Chill started as a ‘Limited Brew’ beer by ‘Brouwerij Nacional Balashi’ in Aruba. The brewery seeked to expand its product portfolio, and grasped the opportunity to compete in the local market with a rejuvenated brand.
Reactions to the ‘new kid on the block’ were overwhelming and Chill was taken into production in February 2011.
The idea behind Chill was to create a beer, which was smooth and subtle, but also crispier in taste, with a clear pale yellow color; great for the beach, sports as well as nightlife. Chill contains 5% alcohol, which is on par with other beers in the same category. Branding of Chill focusses on young, hip and trendy, a relaxing Caribbean life-style.
Chill is brewed in cans, bottles and kegs ranging in different sizes.
