‘riff’ terra alpina pinot grigio is a white wine made of grapes that are grown in vineyards on the foothills of the Dolomites, a part of the Alps, which influences the climate and blesses the region with prized alluvial limestone soils. The name Riff (German for reef) refers to the Dolomite’s geological origin, deposited by fossils from an ancient sea that covered the region millions of years ago.

brilliant straw yellow colour with a green tint. Fruity (apples, peaches), forward varietal aroma with elegant mineral notes. Quite pronounced, clean, grapey flavour.Dry, medium-bodied on the palate with a crisp and well balanced aftertaste and good length. When properly cellared, this wine may be kept for at least 2 – 3 years.
fermentation in stainless steel tanks, followed by maturation on the fine lees for 4 months.
