Stone Cellars by Beringer is a line of easy-drinking wines available in multiple formats which are ideal for casual gatherings.Consistent and
approachable in flavor, the line offers classically structured varietals that offer great value. Stone Cellars is named in honor of the
original Beringer stone winery, built in 1876.
The coordination between viticulture and winemaking teams is essential when choosing fruit, to achieve the optimum level of flavor and balance in
the wine. Stone Cellars vineyards are located throughout California, in regions that offer ideal growing conditions of particular varietals of
grapes, delivering on each wine’s commitment to varietal expression.
Traditional winemaking techniques were used for the Stone Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon in order to focus on the varietal’s juicy black fruit
flavors. The grapes were seasoned and aged in oak to impart vanilla aromas along with hints of baking spice. At blending, Petite Syrah was
added to give the wine a rich ruby color, and a firm backbone of tannins.
